How To Train Your Dragon themed differentiated worksheets containing a variety of possessive apostrophe activities, focusing on Chapters 1, 2 & 3 of the novel.
The possessive apostrophe worksheets are differentiated three ways. They contain a variety of possessive apostrophe activities to develop pupils’ knowledge of possessive apostrophes and improve their skills in using possessive apostrophes in their writing. Pupils are asked to identify singular and plural possessive apostrophes, create possessive phrases, add missing possessive apostrophes and write sentences to include different types of possessive apostrophes.
The worksheet focuses on Chapters 1, 2 & 3 of Cressida Cowell’s popular novel, How To Train Your Dragon, but can be used at any point after reading Chapter 3.

This collection of verbs commonly used when cooking or writing recipes are useful for pupils writing instructions or recipes and for ESL students speaking or writing about cooking.
The sheets comprise of 30 cooking verbs. Each verb comes with a definition, accompanying photo and sentence containing the key word.
These cards can be printed double-sided onto A3 for a handy help sheet, or onto A4 to be cut into cards and distributed to pupils/students according to ability. They can also be made into booklets or display posters.
The verbs are arranged alphabetically and each word is used as an imperative verb in an imperative sentence.

A fun 100 question end of year quiz for KS2 pupils.
This 100 question quiz consists of five rounds of 20 questions. It is suitable for individuals or groups. An answer sheet has been provided for individuals or teams to record their answers and score.
The rounds are in the following categories:
• Books & Authors
• Geography
• Grammar, Spelling & Punctuation
• History
• Science
The quiz can be administered in two ways:
✽ Ask all of the questions first and then reveal all of the answers.
✽ Reveal each answer after each question.
The whole quiz can be carried out in one sitting or split up over a series of lessons.
The rounds can be completed in any order. Fact boxes have been included on some answers slides to add interesting information.
There are a range of questions with different levels of difficulty to suit a mixed ability class.
Teacher instructions are included on the presentation.
The quiz comes in PowerPoint format and as a PDF. The answer sheet comes as a Word document, PDF and as a page on the presentation.

Pupils will love reading about unicorns, and be inspired to use this exemplar to write their own non-chronological report about a unicorn or other mythical creature. This 650 word example non-chronological report can be used to examine the features of non-chronological report writing before pupils embark on writing their own non-chronological report with similar features.
Non-chronological report example text contains the following features: language features such as the rule of three, alliteration, similes and facts; grammar features such as commands, questions, relative clauses and synonyms to avoid repetition; and punctuation such as question marks, apostrophes for singular possession, apostrophes for plural possession, brackets, colons, semi-colons and hyphens.
